What can I expect at a Sunday service?

First, let’s talk about what NOT to expect:

  • Perfect people
  • Boring services
  • To leave the same way you came

Now, here’s what you SHOULD expect…

You will be welcomed by a friendly host or two, who will greet you, familiarize you with the facility, and assist you in finding a seat. You will be asked to complete a visitor’s card at some point, if you’re comfortable doing so (don’t worry; we won’t spam you).

At 10:00 AM, the adult and children’s Sunday School classes begin. These classes last until approximately 10:45. After a brief intermission, the worship service begins (around 11:00 AM). After worship, Pastor Guerra preaches, and there is a chance to respond to the message. Following the service you are invited to stick around and fellowship, but if you need to be on your way, we understand; you’ll be presented with a small gift before you leave.

What about Wednesday night LifeConnect?

Wednesday night LifeConnect Bible Study is a much more casual service. We start at 7:15 PM. Each month has a theme, and all of the lessons from that month relate to the theme. Pastor will end promptly by 8:00 PM so you can get home and get some rest before the work day on Friday. We understand you are probably pressed for time, so please, dress casually. We will, too.

During that same hour, we also offer Children’s Church for ages 11 and under. Our Children’s Church services typically include games, songs, a short lesson, and an activity to reinforce the lesson.

When should I arrive?

We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can have a chance to meet you and help you get acquainted with the facilities. Many of us have small children, so if you’re running late, we understand! Our greeters will still be available to assist you, even if you make it in a little past 11.

How should I dress?

However you feel comfortable! Some people prefer to dress casually for church. Others lean toward “Sunday Best.” You will see suits and jeans and everything in between; however you are attired, you will fit right in.

Where should I park?

Limited parking spaces are available directly in front of our suite. Those sites are specifically reserved for first-time visitors, so you are more than welcome to park there. We also have access to the entire storefront parking lot; park wherever it is convenient for you!

What type of music do you sing in your worship services?

We enjoy an eclectic assortment of genres and styles in our worship services. You will hear hymns, songs you may have heard on K-LOVE radio, songs from popular worship artists, gospel songs, etc. Whatever your taste in music may be, you will probably hear something you like.
